چکیده
Pain is a subjective feeling having sensory, cognitive and emotional components. Brain regions that cognitively affectively contribute to pain sensation are the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC), insula, prefontal (PFC) default mode network (DMN). Depression anxiety may accompany they exaggerate via affective disturbance. As complementary treatment of pain, mindfulness meditation which therapeutic technique be described as “non-judgmental awareness present moment”. Mindfulness aims focus on experiences bodily sensations breathing in non-judgmental accepting manner. The functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) one tools can explain mechanism action intensity, unpleasantness disorders accompanying pain. This study compiles studies examining unpleasantness, depression, with fMRI.

Software Tools for the Analysis of Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) has become the most popular method for imaging of brain functions. Currently, there is a large variety of software packages for the analysis of fMRI data, each providing many features for users. Since there is no single package that can provide all the necessary analyses for the fMRI data, it is helpful to know the features of each software package. ...

متن کاملBrain mechanisms supporting the modulation of pain by mindfulness meditation.
The subjective experience of one's environment is constructed by interactions among sensory, cognitive, and affective processes. For centuries, meditation has been thought to influence such processes by enabling a nonevaluative representation of sensory events. To better understand how meditation influences the sensory experience, we used arterial spin labeling functional magnetic resonance ima...
متن کاملResting-state Functional Connectivity During Controlled Respiratory Cycles Using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging
Introduction: This study aimed to assess the effect of controlled mouth breathing during the resting state using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Methods: Eleven subjects participated in this experiment in which the controlled “Nose” and “Mouth” breathings of 6 s respiratory cycle were performed with a visual cue at 3T MRI. Voxel-wise seed-to-voxel maps and whole-brain region of i...
